Over the course of the upcoming 4 Lessons, we invite you to dive into the practical application of the Exploded View. With 12 video-chapters, 3 practical assignments and 4 trainer sessions, you are going to learn how to develop a well planned, thought through and digital business from many interacting parts, using the Exploded View and the tools inherent to it.
Learning Objectives
After this training, you will be able to:
- develop a deep understanding of your use cases, projects and innovations with the help of the Exploded View.
- use the Exploded View as an analysis and visualisation tool for complex circumstances in everyday business.
- develop sustainable solution approaches in the context of digital change and communicate your decision-making basis in a comprehensible way.
Start your learning journey in this onboarding chapter and come back to it for any questions you want to discuss in the Forum General Questions. You are going to meet your trainer and your fellow trainees in person for the first time in the upcoming trainer session. Have fun and let your trainer know if you need any support by writing a forum post!
Next Steps
ContentThe training takes place over 6 weeks and is a blended learning experience. You dive into the theoretical content in your own pace through comprehensible learning videos and review what you have learned in interactive quizzes. In addition, you will consolidate and experience your understanding of the Exploded View with 3 practical assignments and meet your trainer and fellow participants for dialogue, feedback and exchange in 4 trainer sessions via video call.
Effort
Total 25-27 hours
approx. 4 hours of asynchronous e-learning in the modules (training videos and quizzes) 14-16 hours of practical work on your use cases approx. 7 hours of online tutoring via trainer session (via teams call)
Dates and schedule
These are example dates for demo purposes and are adapted to the respective training runs.
Start: from January 9th 2025, Official start of training. You go through the onboarding and the first lesson in your own time.
Trainer Session 1: January 13th 2025, 08:30-09:30h (via Teams Call) - Target until call: Theory of the chapters "General" and "Introduction and Origin" on the platform.
Trainer Session 2: January 27th 2025, 08:30-10:00h (via Teams Call) - Target until call: Assignment A and B (in total approx. 3 hours of effort) and theory of the Generic and Conceptual Exploded View.
Trainer Session 3 (optional): February 10th 2025, 08:30-11:30h (via Teams Call) - serves as a working session with your trainer and team for Assignment C (time required for Assignment C for the group approx. 8-10 hours).
Trainer Session 4: February 17th 2025, 08:30-10:30h (via Teams Call) - Target until call: Assignment C (approx. 8-10 hours in total) and theory of the Detailed Exploded View module.

Quizzes do not need to be passed or correct, they are here for your own learning experience.
Language
You can choose between an English training (videos have German subtitles) or a German training. Choose when signing up for the respective training runs.
